Landfill Regulations

The Landfill (England & Wales) Regulations 2002 came into force on 15th June 2002 to reduce the negative environmental effects of landfill. Certain hazardous wastes are prohibited from landfills and pre-treatment of wastes prior to landfill is required.

Through our services, organisations can be confident in complying with the rising mountain of environmental legislation. CRT ensures that 0% of your redundant ICT Equipment goes to landfill.

All redundant equipment that is not recycled or resold, or donated, is broken down to its base materials and re-used.
